2 French Classes for Children on Saturday afternoons (21 times a year only):

-

The older group for ages 8-12

For children of French-speaking backgrounds (unlike the younger group which is for anyone);
Children don't need to be able to speak any French but they must understand a good bit and have been exposed to it either at home through a parent or by living in a French-speaking country.

Timing : 2 pm to 2.45 pm.

The younger group for ages 3-7

Open to all children regardless of whether they have ever heard any French (this group also includes a few children of French-speaking backgrounds), ie complete beginners who have no connection with French whatsoever, with no expectation that they will do any French outside of class.
It is not a regular language class but rather an immersion experience as it is a session of games or arts and crafts or other fun activities conducted entirely through French.

Timing : 3 pm to 3.45 pm.

New families are welcome to come try it out! Parents can stay and watch.

Price: 10 Euro per class and non-Francophone families of children aged 3-7 have the perk of paying "pay as you go" which means they can choose to attend classes whenever suits, for example only once a month or only once full stop, and only pay for each class they attend. Francophone families can also pay as they go for the first 2 classes to see if the children like it, but otherwise they pay by term, and they can pay in instalments. The teacher is a French native speaker. No need to register or commit. No expectation of regular attendance.

For any information or to confirm attendance on any given day, contact Lucy on 087 45 70 9 70. If you have a child aged 8-12 who has no French, it is worth getting in touch too as it might be possible to include them in future.
Classes stop for a very long summer break from April to the end of September.
